Kawhi Leonard is fabulous but he can only do so much by himself. The Suns finally started clicking in the this series in the second half of Game 2 and I expect them to keep clicking tonight. The Suns shot 58.8% from the field in Game 2, the 15th time in franchise history shooting 58+ FG% in a postseason game, moving to 14-1 in such games with the win. Can't say I expect that again, though. Yeah, the Clips miss Paul George. The guy starting for him, Nicolas Batum, has three more points in this series in 40 combined minutes than Snoopy does.
Booker has been playing a ton in this series, logging 43 and 45 minutes, respectively, the first two games. With his leading role and the Suns’ lack of depth, that’s not going to change anytime soon. With him being on the floor so much and having the ball in his hands a lot, he had five turnovers in Game 1, followed by three more in Game 2. During the regular season, he had at least three turnovers in two of the three games that he played against the Clippers. The odds aren’t great with this, but I still like the over to hit.
Thirty-four-year-old Eric Gordon averaged just under 25 minutes in the regular season, but without Paul George in the playoffs, he's starting and averaging 32.5 minutes. His biggest strength is his 3-point shooting (42.3 percent during the regular season). Gordon has hoisted 16 3-pointers and drained seven through two playoff games. In Game 2 he took 12 shots and nine of them were from beyond the arc. At plus money, I'll bank on Gordon to keep letting it fly and make at least three 3-pointers.
