The Mavs were given a major gift by the NBA in having Luka Doncic's 16th technical foul rescinded so he can play tonight. Struggling Dallas thus has no right losing to an Indiana team down Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Myles Turner.

Things are not looking good for the Dallas Mavericks. Dallas has lost three games in a row (including two consecutive games against the lowly Hornets) and are 4-8 since acquiring Kyrie Irving at the the trade deadline. Irving has played well at least, and is averaging 27 PPG since joining the team. He has eclipsed this line in six of his last eight games. The Mavericks really need his scoring and the Pacers are an ideal opponent as they play up tempo and are 25th in Defensive Rating. Neither of these teams play defense (238 point total) and I believe Kyrie has a great chance at scoring 25+ tonight.

Doncic received his 16th technical foul of the season Sunday, meaning he should have been suspended for this matchup. However, the league rescinded it Monday, making him available to play. The Mavericks are currently on the outside of the play-in tournament, so having Doncic available for this game is huge. He has scored at least 32 points in five of his last eight games, which included a 39-point performance against these same Pacers. Given that the Pacers rank inside the top-10 in the league in pace of play and inside the bottom-10 in defensive rating, Doncic should have another big scoring night as he looks to lead the Mavericks to a win.
