Now that this has come down a bit, I'll take it. The Clippers have won two in a row and have been off since Wednesday. The Knicks have dropped two in a row, lost Jalen Brunson to injury again on Thursday in Sacramento and this is the front of a back-to-back -- although NY doesn't have to travel as it faces the Lakers in a Sunday night national TV game. The Knicks might cover, but Brunson is second in the NBA in fourth-quarter points and all the intangibles point to the Clippers.
Robinson has hit this number in 8 of 10 games going into tonight's game against the Clippers, including both games without Brunson on the court. The match up isn't incredible but the Clippers seem to struggle against Centers. I will discuss this pick and more on the Early Edge at 10am.
The Knicks will not be at full strength for this game with Jalen Brunson (foot) having already been ruled out. However, they have been excellent on the road, posting a 22-11 record against the spread away from New York. The Clippers are just 2-5 since acquiring Russell Westbrook with their two wins coming by six and eight points, respectively. This will be a difficult game for the Knicks to win, but look for them to keep things close.
