It remains to be seen whether Steve Nash is an NBA-caliber head coach. But at least he's seemingly self-aware enough to know he was in over his head with the nonstop drama show that is the Nets, the would-be super team that never was and has instead turned into a magnet for controversy. Nash walking or being terminated probably should have happened in the off-season, but at least both parties are doing the right thing now. Kevin Durant reportedly has wanted Nash gone, and Kyrie Irving is reportedly upset about Nash's dismissal. Both so-called superstars have played a major part in Nash's ill-fated stint with the Nets. If they have any pride, they should show it on the court Tuesday.

This is the second night of a back-to-back for the Nets, who are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 in this spot. They've also covered just five of their last 21 home games. Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan enjoyed facing Brooklyn last season, averaging 25.7 and 25.3 points respectively as Chicago took two of three, including a four-point win at Barclays Center. The Nets rank 29th in defensive rating this season and won't have their best defender, Ben Simmons, again. Grab the points.
