Paul George could be out for a second straight game for the Clippers, and the load-managing Kawhi Leonard is always a candidate to skip working on consecutive nights. But just one of them in the lineup should be enough to lift a Clippers team that is smarting from a home upset loss against the San Antonio Spurs. The Warriors could be a hard team to gauge for oddsmakers, but this feels like a value spot in response to Golden State's strong performances in back-to-back games.
This spread is dropping as Paul George is dealing with an ankle injury and Kawhi Leonard could be rested on the second night of a back-to-back. Golden State has won four of five, scoring 137 points in the last two games, wins over the Kings and Trail Blazers. Take the points.
The Warriors could be good value early in the morning because I tend to think Kawhi Leonard sits this one out for the Clippers and Paul George might too and then the line would change quite a bit. L.A. lost at home to the Spurs on Tuesday with Leonard and three other starters playing heavy minutes, and Kawhi pretty much never plays both ends of a back-to-back. George missed the game with an ankle injury, so he's obviously in question. The Clips are 2-5 ATS in their past seven in the second of a B2B. Golden State, meanwhile, seems to have found its stride with back-to-back blowout wins and Steph Curry going nuts.
