I have been staying away from totals for a while because it's so hot everywhere now and I generally only play Unders. It's very hot in Cleveland today but winds sorta blowing in. This is largely both lineups are horrible in a getaway game for rest or injury. The Guardians have a .453 OPS versus lefties since June 1 and face one in MacKenzie Gore. Cleveland southpaw counterpart Joey Cantillo has been better at home (3.40 ERA) and during the day (3.47 ERA). Brandon Nimmo and Corey Seager are out of the Texas lineup. I preferred this to the full-game total of 8.

MacKenzie Gore is an up-and-down enigma for the Rangers. But lately he's been up, and he has finished at least six innings in three straight games, a full seven frames in two of them. He’s thrown between 95 and 102 pitches in six of his last seven games, and there’s real opportunity for short frames against the Guardians. Over the last two weeks, Cleveland has a .348 vs. LHPs with a 31.2% strikeout rate, both historically bad marks.
