Daniel Susac gets the start in the series finale between the Giants and Athletics. He has gone just 1 for his last 14 at the plate. Yet, I expect extra hitting opportunities even hitting eighth today. Jeffrey Springs has had ongoing struggles, and Susac has extra motivation being in Sacramento. He grew up just 15 minutes away in Roseville, California. Take Susac to get at least one hit.

FanDuel. Landen Roupp is under this outs line in nine of 15 starts this season, including seven of his last nine, and five of six at home. He’s a tough pitcher to rely on for length because of his pitch inefficiencies: Roupp leads all qualifiers with 4.25 pitches per plate appearance, due in part to his 41.9% zone rate (last amongst qualifiers). The Athletics own the sixth lowest chase rate and ninth highest walk rate against righties over the last month. Roupp struggles most against lefties (12% walk rate), and A’s will have five in the lineup today (including four of the top six hitters). Look for Roupp to get the hook against the heart of the A’s order the third time through.
