Reposting because this was deleted due to technical issues earlier. Playing Senga on the walks tonight in what I feel is a good matchup to rack up some walks.

The Mets and Braves has been a prop haven as runs have been frequent. New York themselves have scored nineteen runs in two games, and today is another prime hitting environment for the Mets. Francisco Lindor is 4 for 7 lifetime against Bryce Elder, where he has exhibited power with two doubles and a home run. Play his total bases over.
All of a sudden, the Braves have been finding some offense, piling up 40 runs across the past five games, and winning four of those. Michael Harris was certainly in on the act last night with his grand slam vs the Mets at Citi Field as Atlanta won its fourth in five. The offense is going to have to be in gear again to survive on Thursday as starter Bryce Elder has been knocked around like a piñata as his 6.12 ERA suggests (6.75 since the start of July). Meanwhile, 59 runs have been scored across the past four Mets games, and Kodai Senga not nearly as effective since he returned from his hamstring strain (5.31 ERA in last five starts). Play Braves-Mets Over.
Braves starter Bryce Elder has a 6.12 ERA this season and it's 8.86 in his last nine outings. Mets starter Kodai Senga is on a bad run right now, sporting a 6.61 ERA in his last four starts. The Braves' offense is humming right now, having scored 46 runs in its last seven games. Both bullpens have shown themselves fully capable of coughing up runs, too, lately.
Truly felt like everything was back in place. Mets were up 6-0 Wednesday on one of the worst starting pitchers in the majors ... just wow. If that wasn't the worst loss of the season, I don't know what was. I believe that makes this that much more important for NYM -- although it might get rained out. Kodai Senga vs. Bryce Elder appears to be a major mismatch even if my wife pointed out they both have five letters in their first and last names and are both Geminis. I really need to start locking my office door and wearing headphones ...
