DraftKings. Shota Imanaga makes his return to the Cubs rotation after missing seven weeks with a hamstring injury. Only built up to 72 pitches in his last rehab outing (4.1 innings pitched), I doubt Imanaga is pushed much past five innings and/or 80 pitches in very hot conditions today. The lefty is under this line in four of seven full starts as is, allowing a hit every 19.8 pitches (17.3 last season). He gets a Cardinals squad that’s hitting .238 against southpaws over the last 30 days, and are sporting a lineup that features only two hitters with better than a .250 average against lefties.
The Cubs lost five of six before exploding on Wednesday and I have a feeling there's more on the way. The pitching matchup is Andre Pallante vs. a returning Shota Imanaga and that bodes well for the Cubs, too. I like another blowout.
