Robbie Ray has been solid all season, owning a 2.00 home ERA. Slade Cecconi has allowed three runs, or less, in three of his last four starts but hasn’t got much run support from this Cleveland offense, ranking 25th in runs scored. The Giants have lost three of their last four games and only hitting .243 at home on the season. Even if Ray gets into some trouble, he’s back by the best bullpen in the league in terms of ERA, 2.67.

FanDuel. Since fully ramping up, Robbie Ray has cleared this line in nine of his twelve starts. His advanced metrics have rebounded back to his pre-injury form - Ray’s 29.5% called plus swinging strike rate over the last ten weeks has him in the 87th percentile of qualified pitchers - and his whiff rate alone is fourth highest. He’ll get the Guardians, who have really struggled against southpaws all season, with a 25% strikeout rate and only a .623 OPS.

It should be Rafael Devers' debut with the Giants, just a massive lineup upgrade, and it's one of their co-aces on the mound in lefty Robbie Ray on Tuesday. He had a streak of eight straight quality starts end last time out, but we forgive as it happened in Denver. At home, Ray is 4-0 with a 2.00 ERA in seven starts. Few Guardians have seen him.
