The number has continued to rise here on the Cody Bellinger home run today and even in the untraditional lefty vs. lefty matchup, I'll back Bellinger to go over the 2.5 hits + runs + rbi line at +100 odds, as well as 0.25u on the home run at +550. Kyle Freeland hasn't given up a bunch of barrels but he's been hit harder than 40% of the time and Bellinger is hitting near .400 against left handers. He also has 35 career plate appearances against Freeland which is quite a bit of familiarity.
What a great Friday. Oh, I didn't do all that great betting-wise, but the Knicks gagged at home vs. Indiana (lost that one) and the Yankees were embarrassed in Denver (won that one). I love all people don't get me wrong, but I take particular joy in New York teams face-planting. Don't know that I'd play +3.5 again on Colorado -- I might do +4.5 if we get that offering. That said, I do expect the Yankees to come out firing after that loss. Max Fried has been arguably MLB's best starting pitcher so far and Rockies southpaw Kyle Freeland ... well not so much at 0-5 with a 5.68 ERA. The Yanks lead the majors with a .860 OPS vs. lefties.
Will grab this at 1.5. Kyle Freeland has been brutal for the Rockies after two strong starts to open the season and Max Fried has been unhittable and the Rockies cannot hit anyone, but especially not lefties (.602 OPS). Should be a fun weekend for the Yankees. Rockies entered Friday 2-13 on the RL in last 15 home games.
