After getting swept three at Chavez Ravine by the Dodgers in their opening series, the Tigers have won five of six since, and completed the sweep of the Chisox at Comerica Park on the weekend thanks to a three-run rally in the bottom of the 9th inning on Sunday. Casey Mize certainly looked ready for this new season in his 2025 debut last Tuesday at Seattle, working 5 2/3 shutout innings while allowing just one hit in a 4-1 win. Meanwhile, note that Detroit teed off on Carlos Rodon in his one start at Comerica last season, battering him for four runs and seven hits in just 3 1/3 IP of a Tigers win last August 17.
