The Giants have lost two in a row after a four game win streak and are now one game over .500 and still barely alive in the playoff run as September nears. The Mariners won yesterday to make them .500 exactly and fired their manager after getting swept in LA or maybe it was getting beat by the Pirates. Whatever the case is they're not a confident team right now and George Kirby has lost three of his last four starts. The Giants have won four of their last five with Blake Snell starting. His last two starts he's only allowed one combined earned run. Giants win.

A team can be ignited with a sudden change. For Seattle they showed that immediately in yesterday’s first game with former manager Scott Servais fired. They came back from a 5-1 deficit to beat the Giants in extra innings. As great as Blake Snell has been he has been provided just one run over his last two starts. Take Seattle to start building some momentum with another victory.
