Easily can see the A's scoring only 3, so is Boston getting 8? The Sox's team total is 5.5. And we don't expect they will be batting in the bottom of the ninth. They have never seen A's rookie righty Joey Estes, who is off the best start of his career.

The Red Sox are coming up and emotional series in the Bronx. They play 162 of these things, and if there was ever a spot for letdown this is it. The bats might start slowly. Plus Brian Bello is good, the Sawks bullpen is rested, and Boston might only hit 8x.

Oakland 22-year-old rookie Joey Estes comes off a complete-game shutout of the Angels, but a little different facing the Red Sox at Fenway on Tuesday, and Estes is 1-3 with a 7.00 ERA on the road this year. Just no excuse for the surging Sox (16-6 in past 22) to not sweep this series at home to potentially get back into the AL East race. Boston has won 22 straight games when scoring at least five runs and Estes sure seems a candidate to allow that many. Sox righty Brayan Bello doesn't have great home numbers, so that's likely why this isn't nearly -200 at its open.
