Boston has their best pitcher, they play well on the road, the Marlins are pitching a “hurl and hope” guy….let’s take the favorites

Boston is playing solid ball and should have a distinct advantage in starting pitching tonight. Kutter Crawford can get plenty of swing-and-miss, has been better outside of Fenway Park (2.88 ERA on the road) and faces a Marlins lineup that can be pretty toothless. The Red Sox are a solid 23-17 ATS on the road while Miami is one of the weaker covering teams at home (16-27). The Marlins continue to run out of legit starting pitching options, and now it's Valente Bellozo's time to start. His profile was not special at Double-A or Triple-A. The Marlins have been pounded in interleague play, going just 9-17, and are 4-12 against the AL, with nine of those losses by two runs or more.
