The Reds have mostly been able to count upon solid work lately from starter Andrew Abbott, who aside from a rough May 28 start at St Louis has posted a 1.88 ERA since the beginning of May. The Cubs have not impressed this past week, even in their wins (needing big rallies to come back on the lowly Chisox), and Saturday starter Ben Brown was hit hard (5 runs in 5 IP) by Cincy last Sunday. Today I’ll look for value on the Cubs as Ben Brown bounces back from his first rough outing of the season. Andrew Abbott's K numbers have taken a significant hit compared to last season where he performed way above expectations for the majority of his outings.
