It's a morning start for the Blue Jays and Tigers, and I wonder whether the Tigers bats, which have averaged fewer than three runs per day game in May, will look extra sleepy in this matchup. They're hitting just .221/.281/.330 in games against lefties, and even though they're stacked with righty batters today, Yusei Kikuchi has only surrendered a .664 OPS to righties and the wind is blowing in at Comerica Park. Kikuchi has gone six innings in seven of his last eight starts, and I expect him to get there again in this matchup.

We got some nice breaks on a very profitable Saturday. Which means I just cursed today. Cashed Under this play and I think this sets up even better with Yusei Kikuchi opposed by Casey Mize. Again, I'll be pushing it up a half to avoid a possible push.

This is a nice spot for Kikuchi who has "only" eclipsed this line in 6/10 appearances, however his metrics look good and I would argue this is a favorable matchup. The Tigers possess the eighth highest K rate in then league and Kikuchi is sporting a career best CSW%. have him projected to throw 6.2 K which is a sizeable edge as well.
