A total this big not in Denver or weather related I think we have to take Under every time. Hey, maybe Houston's Ronel Blanco becomes the second pitcher ever to throw back-to-back no-hitters. Kinda doubt it. How about just three earned over six? Each team is resting at least one regular in the lineup.
The Astros bats are going to wake up, right? No better time than against Dane Dunning, who they hung nine runs on late last year. Dunning was more than lucky in his first start of the year, as he lasted into the 7th inning, despite allowing a 100+ mph exit velocity on nine of 13 balls in-play. The hard contact should catch up to him and I'm banking on the 1-4 hitters in the Houston lineup staying hot, after they accounted for all eight of the Astros hits last night. Ronel Blanco introduced a NASTY changeup in his no-hitter, so we'll see how Texas adjusts to that pitch, and Josh Hader and Bryan Abreu should both be available out of the bullpen if needed.
