The 2023 Formula 1 season will continue on Sunday with the 2023 British Grand Prix at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England. The race will begin at 10 a.m. ET and the continued dominance of Red Bull Racing has been the overarching theme through nine races. With Max Verstappen's seven wins and Sergio Perez's two, Red Bull has won every F1 race so far this season and has already opened up a 199-point lead in the constructors' championship.

Verstappen, who has opened up an 81-point lead of his own for the drivers' championship, is the -450 favorite in the 2023 British Grand Prix odds from Caesars Sportsbook while Lando Norris is listed at +1000. Ferrari's Charles Leclerq is at +1600, while Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton is +2000 in the British GP odds.

SportsLine's proven computer projection model simulated the British GP 2023 10,000 times and came up with a surprising leaderboard.

Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary Formula 1 prediction model takes into account a slew of factors including track history and recent results.

The model has been scorching hot when it comes to picking Formula 1 race events dating back to 2021. It nailed both of Leclerc's wins in 2022, and at the 2021 Mexican Grand Prix, the model was strongly backing Verstappen as its top pick. The result: Verstappen dominated the field and ran away with a surprising victory.

It followed that up by calling Verstappen's win at the Rolex Emilia Romagna GP in April and nailed Verstappen to win in Belgium, the Netherlands, Japan, the United States, Mexico and Abu Dhabi. It also called Verstappen's victories in Bahrain, Australia, Miami, Monaco, Spain, Canada and Austria to start the 2023 season. Anyone who followed the model's lead on those plays has seen HUGE returns!

The British Grand Prix was first held in 1926 and the Silverstone Circuit first hosted in 1948. The track began hosting in alternate years with Brands Hatch in 1963 and then became the exclusive home of the British GP in 1987. The 3.661-mile circuit features 18 turns and Verstappen set the race lap record with a 1:27.097 in 2020. However, Hamilton went on to win that race and the seven-time Formula One champion is an eight-time winner of the British Grand Prix. Ferrari's Carlos Sainz Jr. won the pole and captured his only career victory at the 2022 British Grand Prix.

Now, the model has dialed in on the 2023 Formula 1 British Grand Prix and just released its coveted picks and leaderboard projections.

We can tell you the model is fading Charles Leclerc even though he's coming off a season-best second-place finish in Austria and is listed as the third favorite. After finishing second in the 2022 Formula 1 standings, Leclerc has been wildly inconsistent early in the 2023 season. He's tied for sixth in the standings with George Russell and he's been outside the top five in six of nine races thus far. Leclerc was retired in Bahrain and Australia and was outside the points in Spain. Last season, he finished fourth at Silverstone despite starting in third and wound up nearly nine seconds off the pace of Sainz, his Ferrari teammate.

The model is also targeting one driver getting triple-digit British Grand Prix odds to make a serious charge up the leaderboard! Anyone who backs this driver could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who he is before locking in any Formula 1 Austrian GP picks of your own.
