Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Jon's Analysis:

Spurs are fighting for their lives right now as they are in the relegation zone and are two points behind West Ham. This team has to press in this match like their lives depend on it, because they kind of do. Missing out on points against Wolves would be disastrous, but their defense is so bad right now I don't think they could stop anyone from scoring. Expect Wolves to play stress free footy knowing the result doesn't matter, as they try to frustrate a Spurs side who will be vulnerable for 90 minutes.

Jon's Analysis:

Listen, I am fully aware that Wolves are already relegated and have "nothing to play for", however, we've seen that this is the type of situation where they'll randomly do some of their best work. The team has zero pressure or expectations on their shoulders. They get to go out in front of their fans, and give the club a little bit of pride as they swing to take down one of the only other clubs in worse form than them. Wolves haven't lost to Spurs the last six times they've played them, and I believe that number will move to seven as we watch Spurs spiral even further down the table.

Brad's Analysis:

The new manager bounce for Wolves under Rob Edwards looks to be over. This team has struggled, losing three of their last four and conceding 12 goals in that stretch. At a minimum, I expect Tottenham to score twice, with Wolves finding one as well. Tottenham have had their own defensive issues, likely without Guglielmo Vicario, and Cristian Romero is now out for the season. It may take time for De Zerbi’s system to be fully implemented. Expect some defensive lapses along the way. Over 2.5 goals has hit in 67% of Tottenham matches and 56% of Wolves’ home matches. This sets up to be an open match.
