Understanding Public and Money
Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Missouri State Bears vs. New Mexico State Aggies Odds, Betting Lines, Expert picks, Game Projections, DFS Projections and Player Prop Projections - Wednesday 10/22 9:00 PM ET - SportsLine.com
Am I playing this simply because it's there? Probably, just like last night's painful Louisiana Tech loss. Missouri State QB Jacob Clark will return from injury, but some believe the Bears are more dangerous with dual-threat backup Deuce Bailey instead. Clark can't run at all. After averaging 18 points per game in their first three contests of the season, NMSU is averaging 28 points per in the last three as the running game has gotten going a bit. The Aggies are 3-0 at home, outscoring opponents 77-27. Their 9.0 PPG opponents' average at home is fourth-fewest among G5 schools. I'm prepared for a push.
Missouri State is much better team with a healthy Deuce Bailey behind center. The Bears have the better weapons offensively to get open and expose the weaknesses in the New State State secondary. The Aggies are a run heavy team but Missouri has been decent in the trenches with containing their opponents run game. Despite each team sitting at 3-3 ATS, the Bears have been the more balanced team on both sides of the ball, plus the line has flipped in their favor.
