In a word, the 1-8 Noles are awful, swimming alongside the likes of Kent State and Air Force at the bottom of FBS offensive stats. Almost every meaningful stat category (scoring, total offense, rushing) sees FSU in last or next-to-last nationally. The malaise goes far beyond the injury to DJU, who was proving a poor fit at QB anyway. Backup QBs Brock Glenn and frosh Luke Kromenhoek have looked totally lost. A robust, 8th-ranked Notre Dame defense is going to be disappointed if it doesn't pitch a shutout in South Bend. Also note the TO margin, where the Irish are +10 and the Noles at -12!
