Western Kentucky got caught looking ahead last week. The Hilltoppers are 3-0 at home this season and have one of the better quarterbacks in the conference with Austin Reed. Western Kentucky’s defense can be vulnerable at times, but so can the Flames. Liberty struggled with less superior opponents like Middle Tennessee State and Sam Houston State. The Hilltoppers must contain Liberty’s running game and find the holes in their secondary.

Liberty is unbeaten but has been playing with fire for a few weeks now. WKU is unbeaten at home and averaging nearly 42 points per game -- and all those might be needed to cover here. The Hilltoppers' defense is averaging 2.5 takeaways per game to rank third nationally. Teams tend to give the ball away more on the road. This is the last 5.5 on our board.

It is really hard to tell how good LIberty is, they've faced the 2nd easist schedule in the entire country. Blow outs at Buffalo and Florida International increased Liberty's power rating to the point they are 1-2 ATS their last three games. Western Kentucky is 3-0 straight up and 2-1 ATS at home. Starting QB Austin Reed is one of the best QB's in Conference USA. The Hilltoppers let one get away last week against Jacksonville State which could lead Liberty to take them lightly. I think Western Kentucky can win straight up.
