Northwestern's tumultuous offseason not only roiled the roster but resulted in a makeover of the coaching staff. Be wary of picking the Wildcats for an ATS win until they pull it off. Rutgers sports a rock-solid defense with a few pro prospects, which partly explains the subterranean total. The Wildcats will do well to score beyond the teens. The Scarlet Knights are hardly scary on offense, but they won't require many points for a cover.

Rutgers scored more than 24 points in one game last year, and it was against Wagner. Northwestern didn't break double-digits in any of its final four games. Neither team improved over the offseason. One may have gotten worse. This total is optimistic!
