On paper, it’s a shootout, no doubt. However, expected rain might keep both high-powered offenses in check. Plus, the defenses are not as sorry as widely perceived. UCLA has accumulated 15 sacks and ranks second for rush defense in the Pac-12. Projected points-filled games often fall short of expectations, and the wet conditions that could lead to more running and less passing can put a lid on scoring.

These teams feature two of the best offenses on third and fourth downs in the country. They also feature two of the worst defenses on third and fourth downs in the country. Put the two together, and you're not likely to see a lot of stops on defense in this game.

Pac-12 game in the 70s. What else is there to say? While the Ducks may get 40, I don't see UCLA getting more than 30 as the Bruins face the No. 14 rushing defense in the country. I may come back and play the spread on the Ducks -- haven't decided yet.
