Pittsburgh will travel for a neutral site game against Central Florida, in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Knights had an impressive win over Texas A&M where they won outright as 10.5 point underdogs. Still, they are very thin off the bench, and I expect Pittsburgh’s defense and deeper roster to wear them down. Take Pittsburgh.

UCF is currently leading the country in three point percentage at 47.7%. This type of shooting is not sustainable and Pittsburgh defends the perimeter well but their level of competition hasn’t been as strong as the Knights. Pittsburgh is not as physical and athletic as the Knights and they’re a lot younger and inexperienced. With a short spread like this you want the better free throw shooting team, which is UCF. This is a neutral court game in Florida, basically a semi-home game for the Knights and they should dictate the pace as they play much faster than Pittsburgh.

Coach Johnny Dawkins had to start this year with an entirely new crew except for two walk-ons who didn't score on last year's 20-17 team. But what I’m most impressed with is the new guys' win on the road at Texas A&M. The game was tied at halftime, and then Central Florida outscored them by 12 points in the second half to win 86-74. They shot 50% on the road and also 50% from three-point range. They hit their free throws, making 94%. They're 4-1 on the season, and they’ve shot 50.5% from the field. Dawkins has them taking smart shots. Pitt’s only loss was on the road at West Virginia by 22 points last week.
