Lot of noise around the Terps program right now but expect Kevin Willard to have them ready to play. Their twin big men are going to be a bug problem here. Highest scoring starting 5 in the national that doesn't really do close games. Three kids who shoot the 3 really well. Top 25 defensive team. Can toggled between press and zone. Got much better on road as season went on. Terps won 12 of last 15 Big 10 games mostly in quite convincing fashion. Struggle in close/late last shot situations but this should get close to that point. Have the ability to drop 90 if they choose to run or win 75-60 if they close it down.

Seeing nothing but Big Ten defenses since January, Maryland might enjoy a bit less bump-and-grind in Seattle. The potent Terps still scored nearly 82 ppg, with five double-digit scorers led by emerging 6-10 frosh Derik Queen (16.3 ppg), who hit for 31 in the bitter Big Ten semifinal loss to Michigan. The Terps were firing on all cylinders last week at Indy, however, scoring 84 pg in the two outings that included an 88-65 romp past Illinois. Meanwhile, Bryce Drew's GCU has a similar look to a year ago when it advanced, and the offense has a bit more bite since 6-7 sr. wing Tyon Grant-Foster (14.,5 ppg) returned to active duty in last week's WAC Tourney.
