Auburn is an excellent defensive team, and playing at home with revenge on their mind I think we see a strong performance from the Tigers. The first meeting, a 79-75 Alabama win in Tuscaloosa back on Jan. 24, went under the total as the Crimson Tide were held to just 1.05 points per possession. That’s the least efficient offensive performance in a win for Alabama all season and I think it’s informative when handicapping the rematch. Models will appropriately see pace and efficiency when they set this sky-high total, but I think the specifics of the matchup keep us under.
