Seriously, how much fuel can Eastern Kentucky have left in the tank? The Colonels have not only played daily over the three previous days but have been extended into four overtimes. That means they essentially endured four games during the stretch. Now they face an early tip-off for the CBI title. Isaiah Cozart, their top scorer Tuesday with 31 points, turned his ankle late in the game. Though he returned, Cozart could be hampered. Charlotte was afforded a day off after its CBI opener, and all of its games ended after regulation time.

At this point, betting Under in an Eastern Kentucky CBI game seems fruitless. After two straight overtime games on consecutive nights, the Colonels defeated Southern Utah in double OT on Tuesday to arrive in the CBI Championship Game. I have no idea how their players will have anything left in their legs and facing a Charlotte team that ranks 18th nationally in points against (62.4 PPG) also doesn't help. But I learned my lesson last night betting against EKU's scoring prowess. They are 12-3 over this number in their last 15 and each of their three CBI games has reached at least 148 total points...in regulation (before the overtimes)! My model has Charlotte covering in 67% of its simulations -- and winning in 82%, if you feel that the heavy juice is worth the squeeze on the moneyline.
