It almost helps the Waves that they were never really in their game against Hawaii in terms of exerting max effort. GW's game vs. Washington State was decided in the final seconds. Obviously that Pepperdine is on the West Coast is a minor advantage in terms of the lateness of this game Eastern time and less travel than GW. The Waves shoot 39.9% from deep, 14th nationally. GW hits only 32.5%.
