Louisiana is one of the first big surprises of conference tournament season, reaching the Sun Belt title game as the league's 8-seed. The Ragin' Cajuns have an up-tempo pace, a deep rotation and after taking down the 1-seed Texas State in the quarterfinals the bracket has broken their way. Unfortunately this is a bad matchup for Louisiana against Georgia State, as the Panthers have the conference's best defense and excel at forcing turnovers. That doesn't bode well for Louisiana, which rates at one of the worst teams in Division I at limiting turnovers. Georgia State won by 7 when these two teams played 10 days ago, and I think the Panthers match that margin tonight.

Over the years, the Sun Belt Conference has been one in which bettors can ride the hot team during tournament action. Georgia State fits the bill as it is riding an incredible nine-game winning streak. To put it into context, when the Panthers defeated UL Lafayette on Jan. 22, their record was 6-9. In what will be a tight contest until the end, expect Georgia State to defeat the Ragin' Cajuns for the third time this season.
