It greatly pains me to fade my Spartans again, but it was the right call Saturday at Michigan and feels like the right call here as Indiana is simply much more talented led by Big Ten Player of the Year candidate Trayce Jackson-Davis. He had 31 points, 15 rebounds, four assists and five blocked shots in a 13-point home win over Sparty earlier this year. Is MSU 17 points better in this matchup at home? I don't think so. Ideally, Sparty wins by 1-3 points.

This will be an emotional game for Michigan St. and their fans. The Spartans shoot 52.8 percent effectively at home and have shot 83.3 percent from the free-throw line over their last three games. Indiana comes off a tough win against Illinois, without their best player Terrence Shannon Jr. The Hoosiers are shooting 33 percent from beyond the arc but play a Spartan defense that holds their opponents to 29.2 percent from three. Michigan State holds opponents under 60 points per game in East Lansing, not to mention 38.5 percent shooting overall. The Hoosiers are 2-7 ATS in their last nine road games and have a visit to Purdue on deck. Lay the small number as Michigan State gets an important win on an emotional night.
