The only reason this is a "like" and not a "love" pick is the absence of Aaron Jones, who certainly would have helped the Packers -- particularly later in the game. Still, Green Bay feels undervalued in this spot at home against a one-dimensional New Orleans team. The Saints are 2-0 with a combined margin of four points over the Panthers and Titans, and now they on the road in Lambeau Field where Green Bay has one of the league's best home winning marks? This may be tight early, but I like the Packers to win outright. We take the point-plus as a cushion.
The Saints have done just enough to start 2-0, but they haven’t covered the spread yet. Green Bay took a tough loss last week to drop to 1-1 but they covered the spread in both their games. The Packers play their first home game and Aaron Jones might be back at RB after a week off. I’m on the Packers this week because I believe QB Jordan Love, who has six TDs and no picks through two games, will show off big in front of the Green Bay faithful. Packers to cover.

Chris Olave has taken another step forward in his second season and is locked in as one of the NFL's top wideouts. Olave's 2.79 YPRR, 32% target share, 39% air yard share, all rank in the top 10 percentile at WR. He will face a Packers defense that could possibly be without their top DB in Jaire Alexander who appears to have suffered an injury during the Packers final Week 3 practice. Even if Alexander suits up, this number is simply too low for the Saints WR1.
With ailing RB Jamaal Williams unlikely to suit up, the Saints surely could use Alvin Kamara back this week. Alas, his suspension extends for one more game, leaving New Orleans starved again for offense. The Saints have squeezed out only three TDs so far in the Derek Carr era. He will enthusiastically welcome back the versatile Kamara next week. New Orleans can still win outright, given that it has limited foes to 20 or fewer points in 10 consecutive outings. Young Packers QB Jordan Love might not have some or all of three key rehabbing sidekicks -- RB Aaron Jones, WR Christian Watson and OT David Bakhtiari -- in the huddle. One of these teams is destined for. sure in the teens.
The Saints are 2-0, but there's a good argument they should have lost to the Titans and they got a cupcake matchup at Carolina on Monday. Now the Saints get a short week, must travel to Green Bay and will be without their 1st and 2nd string running backs. The Packers defense, particularly their secondary, are formidable and I expect the offense to have Aaron Jones back on the field. That should be enough to get the win.
