Jimmy Butler (ankle) will miss his third straight game for the Heat. Tyler Herro scored 26 points in the first game that he missed against the Timberwolves, then followed it up by scoring 40 points against the Pistons. With those performances, Herro has scored at least 24 points in five straight games. He has an excellent opportunity to hit this over with the Pacers having the eighth-worst defensive rating in the league.

Bennedict Mathurin has been on a tear after the Pacers inserted him into the starting lineup. Mathurin has scored 20+ in four consecutive games, while shooting over 55% from the field, and racking up 9 rebounds per game. While Mathurin certainly looks the part, the shooting isn’t sustainable and he’s sharing the court with plenty of high usage players. He's also facing a Heat squad that plays very slow as Miami is 27th in possessions per game.

NBA Cup night. Fifth straight road game for Miami, which has lost five of its past seven overall. No Jimmy Butler tonight, and that's mainly what this is. Not quite what he was but still the heart and soul of the club. Bennedict Mathurin has been lights out for Indiana since moving into the starting lineup, averaging 23.0 points and 8.3 rebounds while shooting 52.3 percent from the field and 52 percent from 3-point range in the past six. The Pacers are 7-1 ATS in their past eight at home.
