Fading Max Scherzer with the Phillies team total over 4.5 runs (+100), posted earlier in the Sportsline Discord. I can't post team totals here so I recommend the F5 -0.5 or full game -1.5 (+126) as alternatives. I chose the F5 to isolate the game to where Scherzer is the main opposing pitcher, with the veteran coming back from a lengthy IL stint. He couldn't finish four full innings in his final rehab start, and even if he pitches well for a couple innings, I'm betting on a breakdown at some point in the F5. We need to avoid a Jesus Luzardo blow up though, which is why I'd rather the team total, but Phillies F5 -0.5 and -1.5 full game are showing strong value.

Max Scherzer makes his return to the Blue Jays rotation after a long stint on the injured list. Prior to that, he failed to get out of the third inning in three of his five starts anyway. In the first three innings of games, he is sporting a 12.87 ERA. He'll also be on a pitch count (75 to 80 likely) and may not get to five innings even if things go OK vs. the Phillies.
