Tuesday MLB trading preview

The Chicago Cubs defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers last night, 10-5, at Wrigley Field. This high-powered offensive matchup will be nationally televised, and entering tonight, the Dodgers are seeking to become the first to 70 wins in 2026, following a current four-game losing streak. Los Angeles is looking to bounce back as its hopes of securing the one seed in the NL have slipped slightly behind Milwaukee. The Dodgers have lost six of their last eight games, but Los Angeles will have its new ace on the mound in Tarik Skubal. Skubal has 27 strikeouts in his last three games and is priced on Kalshi at $0.52 per share to have eight or more strikeouts. The Cubs will also have one of their best guys on the pitching tonight in Javier Assad, whose ERA is 1.08 in his last three appearances. Assad is trading at $0.47 per share to have four or more strikeouts on Kalshi. Los Angeles is priced at $0.66 per share to win over the Cubs at $0.35 on Kalshi, and nine or more runs in this evening's game is trading at $0.53 per share.

The Houston Astros only have a slim 2.5-game lead over the Texas Rangers in the AL West following last night's loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. The Astros snapped a six-game winning streak during a stretch in which they also won 11 of their past 13 games. Blue Jays' pitcher Trey Yesavage is on the mound tonight, and he has 22 strikeouts in his last three appearances, including holding the Nationals to one run in his last start. Yesavage is trading for $0.49 per share on Kalsi to have six or more strikeouts. Christian Walker, who is second on the Astros in home runs this season, is trading for $0.15 per share to homer. Kalsi has Houston favored to win at $0.55 per share over Toronto at $0.46 per share.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat the New York Yankees 13-7 last night in an interleague clash where Alex Burleson had a three-home run game. The Yankees currently hold a two-game lead for the top spot in the AL Wild Card race, whereas the Cardinals need a little help as they sit four games out of an NL spot. New York pitcher Ryan Weathers is on the hill this evening, and he is trading at $0.65 per share on Kalshi to strike out five or more batters. In the last two meetings between these teams, he pitched seven scoreless innings and only allowed one run. The Cardinals' Nathan Church has been hot at the plate as well, with four RBIs and a home run over his last four games. The Yankees are priced at $0.65 per share on Kalshi to win over the Cardinals at $0.36 per share. Trade on the MLB and more at Kalshi with the promo code SL500:
