Saturday college football Week 4 betting preview
Is No. 4 Ole Miss in danger of a letdown in The Swamp? The Rebels got the best of Lane Kiffin last week in Baton Rouge, coming out with a 32-24 victory over then-No. 7 LSU. Now, they face 21st-ranked Florida (3-0), which beat Auburn 44-39 last week.
Gators running back Jadan Baugh has rushed for more than 135 yards in all three games, and quarterback Aaron Philo is completing 73% of his passes, with six TD passes and two interceptions.
The Rebels (3-0) will still be led by Trinidad Chambliss -- now the Heisman favorite at +310 at DraftKings -- but star running back Kewan Lacy (191 rushing yards) will be a game-time decision after injuring his shoulder against LSU.
The Rebels' defense allowed 172 rushing yards last week, while UF saw Byrum Brown throw for 271 yards and three TDs in Auburn's loss.
Still, the SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every college football game 10,000 times, likes the Under on a pretty high total. It has Under 58.5 coming in at a 68% clip, with a projected score of 26-25 in favor of the Gators. Click here to get started at DraftKings and earn $150 in bonuses:
Another big showdown on tap for Saturday has USC hosting Oregon after the Ducks took out some frustration last week. Oregon (2-1) bounced back from a stunning loss to Oklahoma State in Week 2 by demolishing Portland State 84-0 last week.
Ducks quarterback Dante Moore threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns, and the defense held the Vikings to 103 total yards and had four takeaways.
The Trojans (4-0) have scored at least 39 points in every game, but the defense has had some trouble, and this is USC's first real test. The Trojans beat Rutgers 42-35 last week behind 277 passing yards and two touchdowns from quarterback Jayden Maiava and 102 rushing yards and a score from King Miller.
The SportsLine model has a rare "A" grade on USC money line, as the Trojans are winning in 58% of simulations as plus-money unerdogs. Click here to get started at DraftKings and earn $150 in bonuses:
