Need that Cremonese money back. Think the books got me on that one, luring with the +1. #rookie. Since Raffaele Palladino replaced Ivan Juric as Atalanta manager, the club is 6-1 in all competitions -- 4-0 at home including an impressive Champions League victory over Chelsea. Inter has utterly dominated this series but all we want is a draw. Both are missing guys competing in the AFCON.
The miracle worker in Serie A might be Raffaele Palladino, who took over a listing Atalanta ship from Ivan Juric in early November and has proceeded to notch six wins and just one defeat in the last seven matches. Much of the recent fire has come from striker Gianluca Scamacca, who recently banged in four goals in a three-match stretch, including the win vs. Chelsea in the Champions League, and suddenly Atalanta in a chasing pack just a few lengths behind a logjam at the top of the table. Where, Inter, despite some lackluster showings requiring old hats Marcus Thuram and Lautaro to bail them out, now resides. Recent form, however, suggests Atalanta can get a result. Play Atalanta on Spread
Here's a brutal stat for all the Atlanta fans out there. The last time Atalanta beat Inter in any competition, was back in November of 2018. There has been 15 matches played between these two since the last time Atalanta picked up a win. To make it worse, Inter Milan have won this matchup the last eight matches straight. It doesn't matter if it's home or on the road. It doesn't matter if it's Serie A or Coppa Italia. Inter knows how to win this matchup. Inter sits proudly at the top of the table, but are in a tight race against the next four teams on the table. I don't see an in-form Inter side dropping any points this weekend.
