The objective for Paul Maurice is pretty straight-forward in this series; his Panthers have got to stay out of the penalty box. Florida could get away with trusting its penalty-kill against the misfiring Bruins in the last round, but to give too many man-advantages to the Rangers in this round will be playing with fire. Power play dynamics are much more lethal for New York, which also has five different double-digit point-scorers in the playoffs, with Chris Kreider (7 goals in playoffs) and Vincent Trocheck (6 goals) leading the goal barrage. I mean, what am I supposed to do? I have only six options here. Don't like either moneyline -- really not sure who wins, but I do expect an OT/one-goal game -- or either total and not taking Florida -1.5. The books love O/U 5.5 in the playoffs as it's low enough to get you to play Over but also in the sweet spot where they win Under with a 2-2 regulation tie. There are a few alt totals to where you could bring this down but for on here this has to be the play as I don't believe New York should be getting the +1.5 at home as good as Florida is. The Rangers should have a small goaltending advantage between Russians.
