A quick look to both ends here shows us two defenses seriously struggling to stop much of anything. Anaheim has allowed 3.9 goals per game on the road over the past 45 days and 34+ shots on average, while Montreal is right there with them, allowing 3.8 goals/game at home and 38+ shots/game. Couple that with two struggling penalty kills and both sides finding some power play success of late, and the expectation here is goals will be scored. Three of the past four meetings have gone over.

Learned one rest-of-season lesson over the weekend regarding Montreal: Dismiss/fade the Habs if anyone but Sam Montembeault is in net -- and he should be Tuesday after Jake Allen was terrible again in Sunday's home loss to St. Louis. Montembeault isn't winning the Vezina Trophy or anything but has been solid at home with a 2.75 GAA. Anaheim ranks 4th worst in the league in scoring (2.57 goals per game) and Montreal 5th worst at 2.71.
