One had to figure that all this off the field nonsense surrounding the Raiders would catch up to them eventually and it sure seems to have done so in back-to-back ugly losses. No Henry Ruggs has completely neutered that offense, especially tight end Darren Waller. The Bengals have been a bit Jekyll and Hyde this season but are rested and healthy off the bye.
The Raiders just got blasted by a struggling Chiefs offense after losing to the Giants, and the market looks ready to bail on this squad. But they actually outplayed the Giants pretty significantly in that loss, and considering how successful they've been passing the ball and defending the pass, I'm not ready to give up on the Raiders. The Bengals have had a week off to slip from the collective consciousness, but remember that they got destroyed by the Browns in their last game, which came after losing to an awful Jets team. Cincy has a huge divisional game against the Steelers next and may not be as focused as they need to be here coming out of the bye. I think Raiders win.
