This one might scare people, but I go with my numbers. I have the Jets at +4 and think they’re getting a bit too much disrespect here. The Patriots showed vulnerability against Miami in Week 1, and I have them ranked quite close to Carolina, against whom the Jets would have covered in their season opener if given six points. Now New York plays at home, and I think they can keep this close enough.

This is a great bounceback spot for the Patriots, who blew the win over Miami with a late fumble. The Jets' offensive line struggled mightily in Carolina. And that was before they lost starting left tackle Mekhi Becton to a knee injury in the second half. Look for another polished performance from Mac Jones as New England covers.
