Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Adam's Analysis:

Both teams are better than their records, and the Vikings have been victims of circumstance frequently this season. The Falcons do not seem to have rallied following the firing of Dan Quinn, and the Vikings have the weapons to exploit their defense even with Dalvin Cook out of action. Sitting at 1-4, Minnesota is already in a tough enough situation. Losing a game like this is a non-starter. Kirk Cousins and Alexander Mattison will do enough to get a win for a Vikings squad that sorely needs it. Minnesota has covered its last three games

Larry's Analysis:

Even though Atlanta made a coaching change, I like the Vikings to pour it on the defenseless Falcons. Minnesota is 12-0 ATS at home following a loss, and this offense is clicking with an average of 29 points the past three games. Alexander Mattison isn't Dalvin Cook, but he's more than capable. Lay it.
