Every time Ryan Fitzpatrick has a game like he did last week, people seem to forget what he really is for his career ... a guy who completes 60 percent of his passes and tosses interceptions any time a defense is prepared for him. Yes, Fitz does have a long ball, but if he's not hitting that, his teams are not winning. The Panthers showed something last week against the Ravens, and this line is likely inflated because of it. Still, the Bucs have allowed opponents to score 37+ points when on the road this season and not shown any consistency running the ball. Carolina can do it all, and while I don't love Cam Newton as much as most, I trust him to get the job done against bad teams.

The Buccaneers have gone Over the total in six of their seven games and they come armed with Ryan Fitzpatrick starting which gives them their best chance at moving the chains consistently. The Bucs average road score this season has been 30-39. Something else that stands out about the Bucs being in such high scoring games is turning the ball over a league-high 19 times. Their opponents get short fields often. The Panthers have gone Over in three of four home games. Over is the play.

Tampa's defense is horrible and I don't trust Fitzmagic to do his thing against Carolina's defense. The Panthers have been dominant at home this year.
