FanDuel. Gui Santos has cleared this points line in 6/7 games in which he’s played at least 22 minutes. Coming off an 18-point performance in which he lead the Warriors with 36 minutes, the spark-plus forward is currently atop of Steve Kerr’s rotation (without Steph Curry). This should serve as a solid spot for him to get out in transition (Lakers are 21st against the playtype). As long as he can avoid foul trouble (not always a given with him), I like Santos to clear this points line for the sixth straight game.
We suspect the Vivid Seats or Stub Hub ticket prices for this game have dropped considerably with both Steph Curry (knee) and Luka Doncic (hamstring) sitting out tonight. Jimmy Butler was already sidelined for the season for the Warriors, and with Buddy Hield and Jonathan Kuminga both shipped out at the deadline, Steve Kerr might need to suit up himself to give Golden State some offense tonight. Meanwhile, though Luka is in LA's dry-dock tonight, Austin Reaves has returned to active duty this week (and scored 35 in the Thursday win over Philly), and LeBron has saved some big efforts in the past for the Dubs. Play Lakers
This number is perplexing to me. Yeah, Luka is out but so is Steph Curry. So basically a wash. Shouldn't the Lakers be around -5/-225? I think so. Kristaps will not make his Dubs debut yet, so yeah I don't really get this. Is Gui Santos gonna beat the Lakers? I'm not sure that even Mrs. Santos believes that (mom or wife). Just not sure who scores on that team tonight. Not Gui. Certainly no lock but I'll up the wager.
