Karl-Anthony Towns was a game-time call with some back problems. He will go, but I'll throw a half unit down here as his minutes obviously could be limited or he may just leave the game. If it is out of hand either way (not super likely), then KAT surely doesn't play heavy minutes, either.
One clear-the-air clubhouse meeting might have been all Knicks needed to get back on track. We could be excused for thinking as much after the 54-point wipeout of the Nets on Thursday (preceded by the confab) when the Knicks took out a month's worth of frustration in the most-lopsided win in franchise history. Mike Brown undoubtedly liked the margin but also the effort on the stop end as the Knicks held the Nets to a mere 29% FG shooting night while canning 57% of their own as Brown also got lots of work for his bench, with Landry Shamet (18 points) and Miles McBride (14 points) also taking part in the fun. Meanwhile note much back-and-forth the past two weeks for the Sixers. Play Knicks

Caesar’s. Tyrese Maxey is averaging 30.1 points per game this season. And even with Joel Embiid’s emergence, Maxey has been able to capitalize on easier individual matchups. The point guard has cleared this line in 12/13 games with Embiid, against teams outside of the top 10 of pick and roll ball-handler points allowed. The Knicks rank 29th in that category, and have struggled against lead guards all season, including a 36 point outing from Maxey. I’d bet this to 28.5.
