The Rockets have struggled a bit defending high usage big men, and I expect that to continue without Steven Adams available. The duo of Alperen Sengun and Clint Capela underwhelms defensively, and I don’t expect the Rockets to abandon their main defensive scheme and double team the big man.

Amen Thompson is playing a career high 37 minutes per game. That has helped him average 7.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists. On the road, he is averaging 8.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists. Steven Adams (ankle) being out means that the Rockets will be without one of their best rebounders. In the nine games that Adams has missed this season, Thompson has averaged 13.8 combined rebounds and assists. The 76ers rank 20th in rebounds allowed and 23rd in assists allowed per game, which makes this over even more appealing for Thompson.
