Caesar’s. For the fourth consecutive game, I’m backing Thunder guard Ajay Mitchell. This time, I’m on his combined points, rebounds and assists line. The production has been consistent, as Mitchell has at least 18 points plus assists in each of his four games, with an overall usage rate hovering around 26%. The rebounding has picked up too, with 7 in each of the last two games. Tonight, the Thunder will be without Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe again, and Chet Holmgren will also be out. Not only does this continue to lock Mitchell into big rotation minutes again, but the need for him to crash the boards in smaller lineups will be key. The Kings also run small, and have really struggled to defend ball-handlers.

We are picking up on a trend that started last season at the trade deadline when they added DeMar DeRozan's former Chicago teammate Zach LaVine and traded De'Aaron Fox. Prior to the trades he averaged 3.7 and was 22-23 over 3.5 rebounds. But after the trades he averaged 4.2 and went over 23-13 including 2-1 with a pair of 6 rebound games to start this season. Overall, his average and over rate are slightly higher on the road. OKC has dominated the boards their last 3 games but they were -14 vs the Rockets in the season opener and since last season rebounding is the one thing where the Thunder weren't dominant.
