I asked myself how long it would take me to bet on the stupid Sixers this season. Apparently not long. I say that because clearly no team has been more injury-dependent in terms of betting than them in recent years. I feel like I am hallucinating because they aren't even listing Joel Embiid on the injury report these days. Paul George remains out, but I still don't think they lose at home to Charlotte. The Bugs are going to be better this season if LaMelo Ball can stay healthy, but this feels a bit generous price-wise.

Talk about an impressive debut. VJ Edgecombe torched the Celtics in his first NBA game, scoring 34 points over 42 minutes. He shot 13-for-26 from the field, including 5-for-13 from behind the arc. The key was, Paul George (knee) was out and Joel Embiid was limited to 20 minutes as he works his way back from injury. George won’t play against the Hornets and Embiid is likely to remain on a minutes restriction. Combine that with the Hornets not being afraid to push the pace and Edgecombe could have plenty of opportunities to rack up points.
