I'm going to assume it's too early to start resting Steph Curry, even on a back-to-back game after an OT. He still only had to play 37 minutes last night. All eyes will be on Portland with the scandal that broke and I just think it's a bad look if one of your marquee stars ends up playing reduced minutes with a lot of unders cashing. Since last season he is a better rebounder on the road with a 4.9 average (22-20 over) vs. just 4.2 (15-24 over) at home. We are getting a good +$$$ payout based on his overall average but I'm playing the split.
First thought when I heard the NBA gambling news was: Yep on Terry Rozier because we have all seen highlights on social media of the game in question. At least be subtle, you clown, while making of millions of dollars. And thus first inclination when Portland coach Chauncey Billups was also arrested was to fade the Blazers next time out. But I've turned around on this. It's the second of a B2B for the Dubs, and are we sure Steph Curry plays Friday? And I think the Blazers may rally around Billups as he's a popular former NBA champion and never accused of betting on the league. Just bad relationships. If I was punished for every bad relationship, I'd be a monk in Thailand.
